Apparently Brazil isn’t good only in soccer; in the last decade Brazilian fighters put their names on top of the best MMA fighters in the world.
When we talk about MMA Fighters, names like Gracie, Ruas, Belfort, or Rizzo are very well known for had bring Brazil to the top of best fighters of the world. But this is not a surprise though, given that this sport basically originated in Brazil.

MMAWeekly, Sherdog, Nokaut and Yahoo Sports all currently rank Anderson “The Spider” Silva as the number one middleweight in the world, plus the No. 1 pound-for-pound mixed martial artist in the world. Anderson in the last 10 fights he won 9 and was disqualified in one of them for an illegal kick against Yushin Okami. He currently holds the title of Middleweight - Over 170 lbs. to 185 lbs for UFC.
Rumor has it that Anderson Silva expressed huge interest in fighting Roy Jones, Jr. in a box match to prove that MMA fighters are very technical too, in opposite of Roy Jones, Jr. keep saying.
