After the victory of male Brazilian team for 1 to 0 against Belgium on this Thursday, at the premier soccer tournament for the Olympics, Ronaldinho Gaucho said the team of Brazil deserved the result and that has to play the game thinking in the fight for unprecedented medal of gold.

“Start with three points is wonderful. There are five more games, we will grow step by step”, Ronaldinho says, without worrying about the poor performance of the team.

Ronaldinho reiterated that the objective was to win the first game and it was achieved, despite some problems on the field.

“I’m happy because we achieved an important victory having so many difficulties.”

In good physical shape after an intensive training to recover up to the Games in Beijing, Ronaldinho failed to shine. His only kicks on goal weren’t very accurate and didn’t bring any danger to Belgium goalkeeper.

“I have been training to do everything right and help the team.”, completed Ronaldinho.
