If Gisele Bündchen over earn Adriana Lima as the best paid super model, the brunette takes a gold medal as the most beautiful on Twitter, according to The Sun The style NTOs had access to the profile – which is private – the top. Well, always beats a question: is it herself or just someone posing as Adriana Lima? But the amount of photo-making of the routine and the girl – if it’s not her, it must be someone very close. In the sixth (29), she posted pictures of scenes of Maybelline’s new campaign.

The Brazilian leads the list with 49 other super models that use Twitter. To delirium of fans, the photos posted helped decide the ranking. The photos are really amazing. Hayden Panettiere, Jessica Alba, Taylor Swift, Ashanti, Audrey Kitching, Brooke Burke, DJ Tamara Sky, Tila Tequila and Lily Allen are the top 10. Adriana – aka @ misslima “for twitter users on duty – is so popular that it has several profiles, fan-clubs.

Gisele X Adriana

The magazine “Maxim” lists the ten most sexy women of the year and to the surprise of everyone Ms. Brady was out of the list and Adriana took the seventh place. “We apologize to you Tom Brady, the husband of Gisele Bündchen, but Adriana will now represents the Brazilian beauty,” says the publication. Who disagrees?

And Adriana Lima has not stopped there. Girl-advertisement of Victorias Secret lingerie, has been voted the sixth sexiest woman in the world by the magazine “FHM.” The news of her pregnancy prints magazines and newspapers around the world. “Marko little or Adri is coming soon ..:) kisses,” was his last post on Twitter.

Since I started to study Internet Marketing this was the first time I attended to a meetup. IANteract Meetup202 was hosted last saturday and as a beginner I really enjoyed especially to hear the experience of the guys who attended.

Ian Fernando was the host and he answered most of the questions brought to the table. AJ and Ron B have a lot of experience too and shared valuable information with the group.

We had the chance to ask questions about anything we feel like. And the guys answered pretty much everything. I hope in the next meetups I can come up with some good question that will help understand better the Internet Marketing industry.

We talked about a lot of stuff, here are some of the topics discussed:

Keyword tools to accelerate campaigns.

Landing Pages x Direct Link.

John Chow, Shoemoney and Zac Johnson’s blog.

Prosper 202 and Optimize My Site.

Black Ink 2 and PPC Classroom.

In my opinion in the following meetups we should talk more about the new trends and the future of Pay-Per-Click. Many people is saying that PPC is saturated, but I think only 10% of all internet marketers are making six figure income, the whole other 90% are just picking pennies.

Entrecard contest

In the beginning of June I released a contest to giveaway 10,000 Entrecard credits to the blog which drives more traffic to my blog. Until now less then 20 people post an article about it and their chances are pretty huge to win the big prize. If you didn’t write about it yet hurry up the time is running!

Alexa traffic

Beside so many big bloggers talk bad stuff about Alexa that they are not accurate enought I like it. Since I released the Entrecard contest my Alexa traffic skyrocket.

Google position

If you search for “what about brazil“, the name of this blog, the results will show it in second place. I have no idea why Google algorithm does that. The name of the site is the name of the search you’re looking for and even though the name doesn’t show in the first place.

I good example of Google search show inaccurate results are when you look for “john chow dot com”, for some reason Google punished John Chow and push his blog away from the first page.

Technorati authority

Believe it or not my technorati authority jump from 12 to 108 in only one month. I believe that happened because more people found my contest interesting and linked to it. Thanks for the people who linked to my blog.

Comments on the blog

In my opinion if a blog has many comments means that the people who reads it found it interesting to leave a comment on it. I’m glad that some people spent time on my blog and left comments. Thanks everybody.

I’m really thinking of remove all the advertisement I have in my blog. First because it’s not bring me money nor traffic and second because I could use the space to show something interesting like pictures of Brazil or so.

Recently I read so many articles about people who decide to remove the ads from the blog and the readers like it better.

The company, which measures the Brazilian Internet since September 2000, also informed that the number of Internet users with access to the web at home also was the largest ever recorded, reaching 35.5 million people.

According to the study coordinator and manager of the company’s analysis of search, Alexandre Magalhaes, the accelerated growth of the market for computers in Brazil and progress in public policies regarding access to the network are the main factors behind this continuous expansion of the Internet in Brazil.

“These figures reflect positive … And the public policy of opening points of Internet access in schools … beyond the avalanche of facilities to purchase new computers … because of competition among manufacturers of computer,” said a released to the press release.

Last month, 23.1 million people surfed on the web at least once in their homes, number 29% higher than in May 2007.

The Brazilian internet user surfed for 23 hours and 48 minutes on average last month ahead of most developed countries like Japan and the United States.

Update » I just received an email from Entrecard crew saying “we’ll settle with a warning” and they returned my credits back to my account.

Two days ago I realized that it was missing plenty of credits from my account, after wonder a while what have had cause that I went to transactions page to check if I had sent someone credits by mistake and then I found a message saying “SPAMMING – STOP OR YOU’LL BE REMOVED” and 4,000 was took away from my account.

Entrecard is being a very important source of traffic to my blog lately however Entrecard crew hurt me really bad.

I sent an email to Graham Landon (Entrecard founder) asking for a explanation about the situation. See the email below »

Graham Langdon,
Today I noticed something really weird in my account. I’m short 4,000 EC Credits.

At first I thought I had send someone the credits by mistake, however when I went to transactions
I realized what have had happened to my account, the message “SPAMMING -STOP OR YOU’LL BE REMOVED”.
To tell you the truth I have no idea why you guys think I’m spamming.
I created a contest to giveaway 10,000 EC credits to the blog which brings more traffic to my blog. Then I sent
some messages to at most 100 people, after 2 people asked me to stop sending messages I stop and that’s it.

And the problem is I didn’t even received a message from Entrecard.com saying something like stop sending messages that
looks like a SPAM.

SPAM for me is some blogs I see everyday that has the Entrecard logo in a page that has nothing but the blog or some people that has more than 5 accounts that looks the same and they promote themselves.

This is totally unfair, if you go to your analysis you can see how much time I spend in Entrecard.com. I think I even stay connected
to Entrecard more than to my email.

I’d like to ask you to please consider to give my credits back, because I have to give to the person who wins the contest. I want to
honor that. I don’t want to be short by the end of the contest.

I treat Entrecard as a family where everybody has to help each other. I never used Entrecard as a SPAM tool to promote my blog.

regards,

Thiago Prado
www.whataboutbrazil.com

Just after a send the message he answered me back in a very rude way. check the email below »

You received about a hundred different complaints over the last few months. Stop spamming people or we’ll close your account, seriously.

The funny part about this story is that I released the contest last week and before this contest I’ve never had sent a message using Entrecard website. It’s impossible the complaints to have happened months ago if I wasn’t even using the service.

Another funny fact is that before May 24th I thought I’ll lose my credits if I drop cards instead of earn credits. So, before this date I didn’t even drop cards using Entrecard.

After I talk to some of my friends that are bloggers they told me that they’ve heard about situations like that involving Entrecard site. I hope this isn’t a strategy to make the user come back to the site and try to get the credits back.

One of my friends even quit Entrecard because the site changed the whole idea of community and started to monetize in every single way.

To tell the truth I didn’t quit Entrecard because I’m having a contest running and I have to pay 10,000 Entrecard credits to the winner. If Entrecard and I don’t settle the situation I don’t know if I will continue being a member of the community after the end of the contest. The deadline of the contest is the end of July.

As he said in the article Entrecard is the only way to advertise in blogs like John Chow dot com or proBlogger.net without paying money for it.

For example, the average of the price to advertise in JohnChow dot com and proBlogger.net per day is 4096 credits on Entrecard, the best way to that is to win the 10,000 credits from the contest John created.

My blog is brand new and I don’t have enough money to spend in advertisement right now, for sure if I win the contest it’d help me a lot to increase the visits and as long as people read my blog they can like it and make it popular. Also if I win I will use my credits to buy an Ad at John Chow dot com two times and I know doing that it would increase so much the visits on my blog. Eventually if I win John is going to be able to do the same contest next month because he’s going to have it back right away.

Advertise in blog like John Chow dot com is a Return on Investment guaranteed, if you have money to spend on advertise it’s way better to pay $500 to John Chow write an review about your site than use it with Google adwords or similar service. Just to reinforce the idea, John Chow dot com has over 23,000 people reading its RSS feed everyday, that means if at least 50% of the people click on you link you’ll have over 10,000 unique visitors in the first and probably you’ll have at least 30% or 7,000 for the subsequent 7 days. And your website is going to be linked to his blog as long as the blog exist. Very good deal!

Everybody knows that to make a blog a success it has to become very popular and for that happen the blog has to be seen for a lot of people, if they like it they are going to spread the link to every friend they have and it’ll make the blog popular.

My start as a blogger was after I read an e-book wrote by John Chow about how to make money online, I thought that could be good for me and I persist on the idea, I created my own blog and it’s helping me in many ways. But it takes time to get noticed on the internet unless you lucky to create something new or your blog become viral for some reason.

Since I read that e-book I never stop reading about blogging and how to improve my blog, but the fact is to make money you need money. To make your blog noticeable you have to invest a little bit in advertisement, and to do that you need money or very good friends that want to see you grow(Almost never happen).
