After been badly criticized last week for not being consistent and not being able to finish the last two grand prix, Felipe Massa left every problem behind and focused in the race. Though the press worldwide talked about the end of his contract with Ferrari by the end of the year after his crash in the last grand prix in Malaysia, Massa proved to be a great driver and repeated the victory of last year to score his first points this year.

Seven-time world champion of Formula 1, Michael Schumacher acknowledged that the beginning of the season, Felipe Massa has not been good at all. But he still has time to recover and become champion of the 2008 season.

“The last few weeks have not been the most pleasant thing in my life. That’s life. It is not the first time that this happens. Today was a sensational day. I was fast and everything is better when I achieve the victory,” said Massa.

“I needed to win the race without doing anything wrong. I know that the last two races were a disaster and had to take the car back home without exaggerating. Nothing better than a great day to forget the last race. Now I need to maintain this mentality to win more races and score the highest number of points”, he completed.
