The verb is perhaps the most important part of the sentence. A verb or compound verb asserts something about the subject of the sentence and express actions, events, or states of being. The verb or compound verb is the critical element of the predicate of a sentence.

In the last article about how to learn Portuguese we learned the Portuguese alphabet. To learn a new language takes time and I’ll break this article in 10 weeks, in every article 10 verbs will be cover.

1. agree means concordar
   e.g.: Eu concordo com todos os termos e condições.
   I agree with all the terms and conditions.

2. do means fazer
   e.g.: Eu não vou fazer nada amanhã.
   I won’t do anything tomorrow.
   .
3. know means saber
   e.g.: Nós devemos saber da verdade
   We must know the truth
   .
4. read means ler
   e.g.: Eu aprendi a ler quando tinha 4 anos de idade.
   I learned how to read when I was 4 years old.
   .
5. suggest means sugerir
   e.g.: O que você sugere que eu faça?
   What do you suggest I do?
   .
6. allow means permitir
   e.g.: Eu não posso permitir sua entrada.
   I can’t allow you to get inside.
   .
7. eat means comer
   e.g.: Eu estou cansado de comer banana todo dia.
   I’m tired of eat banana everyday.
   .
8. learn means aprender
   E.g: Eu quero aprender a falar português.
   I want to learn how to speak Portuguese.
   .
9. remember means lembrar
   e.g.: Eu não consigo lembrar o seu nome.
   I can’t remember your name.
   .
10. take means tomar
    e.g.: Você poderia tormar a bola do cachorro?
    Could you take the ball from the dog?

Talk about the State of São Paulo is always in the superlative. It has the largest population, the largest industrial park, the largest economic production, the highest record of immigrants.

São Paulo is also known for its unreliable weather, the sheer size of its helicopter fleet, architecture and multitude of skyscrapers. The São Paulo/Guarulhos International Airport connects São Paulo with many Brazilian cities and also operates international flights.

Economic facts

São Paulo is consider the financial and economic capital of Brazil, the city is the largest in Brazil and fifth in the world by population and is located in the South East of the country. It is also the richest city of Brazil.

It was built with the force and the hard work of people from all parts of Brazil and the world, keeping each piece rooted in this land is intended to work. They are 645 municipalities and a population that exceeds 40 million residents. With the best infrastructure and workforce qualified, Sao Paulo can even be called “The locomotive of Brazil.” The State produces all, especially high-tech products. But the emphasis is not only in industry. The Sao Paulo also has agriculture and livestock.

In the economy, out of 260 shopping centers in the country, 94 are located in the state, accounting for more than 200 thousand jobs, and a broad network wholesaler and retailer spread by municipalities.

Tourism

The North Coast or North Shore, begins less than an hour’s drive from the city at the town of Santos, and about an hour later, the SP-55 highway (also known as Rio-Santos) is tracing a beautiful coastline of lush but rugged green hills towering over a shoreline of rocky coves and sandy beaches.

Some of the most sought-after beaches are within the municipality (more a county than a city) of São Sebastião.

But there is a scene for everyone, from the energetic, youthful resort town of Maresias, to the idyllic beaches tucked into the hills at Toque Toque Grande and Toque Toque Pequeno, to the unpretentious colonial center of São Sebastião that also serves as the ferry station to Ilhabela, a green Goliath of an island that looms just off the coast, full of upscale restaurants and hotels.

The photographer Ryan McGeeney had a dart crossed his leg this Monday, during a athletics championship in the state of Utah, USA.

Even with the object still stuck to the body, the photographer didn’t lose the opportunity and took photos of the leg, while doctors tried to stabilize the injury.

McGeeney was transported by ambulance to the regional hospital of Utah Valley, where the dart was removed. The photographer had 13 points in his leg, but did not suffer more serious damage to ligaments or tendons.

Not very rare in sports, the same accident happened in Brazil in 2006, when the referee Lia Mara Lawrence was reached during the Brazil Trophy Athletics, in Ibirapuera Stadium.
