The number of deaths caused by rain in Santa Catarina already reaches 114, the second review released by Civil Defense this Sunday (30).
In this Sunday, one of the bodies was found on the banks of the River Jalandhar-Açu in the neighborhood Salseiros in Itajaí. As the man was not identified, the body was in an advanced state of putrefaction - the place of death was not determined. The body may have been taken by the river up to the city Itajaí.
Another body was found in Gaspar and another two in Luiz Alves.78,707 are homeless and displaced - 27,410 homeless and 51,297 displaced . At least 19 remain missing. In all, more than 1.5 million people were affected by the rains.

I know it is terrible to experience natural disaster like this. Resources are damaged and lives are lost. But we should always be courageous and have faith in God’s grace.

It’s always scaring when Nature is angry, yet we still don’t stop to annoy Nature. May God give them strength.
