WordPress.com banned in Brazil
It seems that Brazilian politics are always having problem with people posting stuff about sex on the internet. This time one person that embedded one YouTube video on his blog hosted at WordPress.com is being responsible to make the whole WordPress community be banned in Brazil.
The last time stuff like that happen was when someone published a video of Daniela Ciccareli having sex on the beach on YouTube, at that time the repercussion was really bad for Daniela’s career at MTV, many users got together to boycott her TV show.
That’s not the first time WordPress was about to be banned. WordPress is also banned in Turkey and China.
Even though I’m a Brazilian I think that’s a very stupid idea to ban the website because of one user. WordPress should have the rights to be notified and then ban the user that is misusing the service. I hope this process doesn’t goes through and all the Brazilians are able to post whatever they want, of course respecting the rules.

I love wordpress to much that I don’t know what I’ll do if it got banned in Brazil. I live in USA but I always read stuff in Brazil
